About the Role

These full time and part-time position opportunities in a variety of different areas including CN scrub scout team members supporting general surgery, eyes, plastics, and urol, theatre aesthetics team members and PACU/ENDO. You will join a team of dedicated professionals focused on providing safe, comprehensive nursing care to every patient, striving for the best possible outcomes.

 

This role will involve, but is not limited to:

  • Supervising and supporting all staff within the unit
  • Acting as a professional resource and demonstrating broad knowledge in all facets of caring for patients to ensure the highest levels of nursing care.
  • Participate in Quality improvement Programs in line with organisational and departmental strategic plans.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team member who demonstrates strong clinical expertise and excellent interpersonal skills.

Your daily duties will include problem-solving, fostering a positive and supportive culture, and providing expert guidance to team members. Strong time management and advanced clinical problem-solving abilities will be crucial to your success in this position.

You will also demonstrate;

 

Essential:

  • Minimum four (4) years’ post graduate experience as a Registered Nurse, including experience in either anaesthetics, scrub scout and or PACU/ENDO.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a health-care team, and positively influence the performance of other staff.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a leadership position or demonstrate leadership and decision making skills.
  • Completed Preceptorship Program
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in accreditation processes, clinical indicators and other quality projects.
  • Sound computer skills in MS Office Suite including Excel.

 

Remuneration

$54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
