We seek a dynamic and passionate educator to join our Learning and Development Team and contribute to a service of educational excellence in our fast-growing facility.
- As a Hospital Education Coordinator, you will contribute to and participates in the education of all levels of staff by being involved in department orientation, in-servicing and clinical competence programs.
- You will also make a valuable contribution to the hospital quality improvement processes.
Essential:
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Relevant Post graduate qualification plus 3 years experience working in the clinical specialty/area OR
- A minimum of 4 years post basic registration experience, including 3 years experience in the relevant specialist field
- Knowledge of work contracts and methods of assisting and facilitating learning
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Computer literacy in all Microsoft Software applications.
Desirable:
- Completed Preceptorship Program
- Certificate IV Workplace Training & Assessment
- Excellent time management skills.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $62.29 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
