About the Role
Casual opportunities now available for Patient Services Assistants to join our 43 bed Medical Surgical ward. This role will involve assisting with patient cares and with manual handling of orthopaedic patients.
We are on the lookout for a vibrant and eager Patient Services Assistants to become integral members within our Medical Surgical team.
- Ideally suited to career AIN’s with medical surgical experience
- 2nd year undergrad Nursing or Diploma in Nursing student with a keen interest in pursuing a career in medical surgical.
- As part of nurturing team, you will contribute to delivering dedicated and specialised care to our patients.
In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager, offering an exciting pathway into the world of healthcare.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should embody a positive and effective team spirit, showcasing excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
You should also possess:
- Currently enrolled in 2nd year Nursing at University or current Diploma in Nursing Student.
- A Certificate III in Health Service Assistance or equivalent.
- Availability for a flexible roster covering all 7 days of the week
- Self-motivated and capable of working efficiently following directions.
- Understanding of infection control principles.

The Hospital
Caboolture Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical and medical hospital situated in the outer Northern reaches of Brisbane - at the southern end of the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Caboolture Private is a Preferred – Tier 1 Department of Veterans Affairs accredited hospital which allows Veterans to have immediate access to the facilities without, in most cases, the need for prior approval.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
