Occupational Therapy Assistant
Casual Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and positive Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Joondalup Health Campus on a casual basis.
About the Role
This role will suit a person who is an excellent communicator, who is excited by growth and improvement, strives to achieve productive outcomes every day, and importantly, is passionate about providing high quality clinical support to our clients under the direction of our Therapists.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will be a strong team player with exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work within a team and unsupervised if needed. You will also be a proactive professional with the capability to multitask and effectively manage your time throughout the workday. An interest, and/or experience in mental health settings would be an advantage.
Selection criteria
Ensure to address the listed selection criteria in your application documentation.
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistant Qualification or working towards OR currently studying Occupational Therapy.
- Willingness to undertake a broad range of patient and non-patient related tasks.
- Ability to prioritise workload and respond effectively to competing demands.
- Competency in navigating Microsoft Office suite and computer literacy.
Candidates with the following will be highly regarded:
- Experience in facilitating groups and contributing to a group therapy program
- Experience providing care to culturally and linguistically diverse clients

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
