Medical Receptionists to join our Hospital Administration team! Permanent full-time position now available for the right candidate!

 

About the Role

You will be joining our Administration team and be responsible for providing a comprehensive customer focused service to all aspects of the Hospital Front Office.

You will effectively undertake administrative duties that will include, but are not limited to, customer enquiries, switchboard operation, bookings, filing, notation of bed moves, health fund checks, admitting and discharging patients as appropriate and reporting outcomes or needs to the Manager of the relevant department or direct line manager/ supervisor.

Providing a high level of customer service to all staff, patients and families, you will be committed to maintaining effective interpersonal relationships and work in harmony with a collaborative and constructive team.  

 

Your Skills and Experience

The flexibility to work a rotating roster, weekend and public holiday availability is essential. Reception hours are 5:30am-10:00pm.

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist
  • A positive and welcoming customer service skillset
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
  • Experience with patient management systems (Meditech) will be highly regarded
  • Strong computer skills with a clear understanding of the MS Office suite
  • Any relevant administrative qualifications will be highly regarded

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
