About the Role
We are on the hunt for anaesthetic, PACU and Cardiac Cath Lab Recovery room nurses to join our Sunshine Coast team due to the expansion of our theatre and Cath Lab departments.
With the following specialities on offer, you will have an interesting and diverse caseload: cardiothoracic, interventional cardiology, vascular, ENT, urology, neurosurgery, bariatrics, endoscopy, orthopaedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, plastics, pain.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years’ post-graduate nursing experience
- Recent experience in an Anaesthetic, Recovery or Cath Lab setting essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $40.47 - $52.19 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife gr2-gr8) [FTE $79,968.72 – $103,127.44]

About Our Hospital
Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital opened on 4 November 2013, offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and day services across a wide range of specialties.
Facilities include 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11 bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and an 9 chair day therapy unit. Medical consulting suites are located onsite together with comprehensive pathology and radiology services. Other onsite facilities include a retail pharmacy and coffee shop.
Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital is collocated with the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, on the Kawana Health Campus.
Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
