Are you ready to take your physiotherapy career to the next level? We are on the hunt for a Grade 2 Physiotherapist to join our team in a permanent full-time position!

 

About the Role

As a Grade 2 Acute Physiotherapist, you'll work in a supportive and progressive environment, managing acute medical and/or orthopaedic caseloads. With the opportunity for rotations into the subacute setting, you’ll gain valuable experience across various areas of care.

This position is primarily based at Peninsula Private Hospital, with optional rotations at Beleura Private Hospital. Travel between Ramsay Health sites may be required as needed.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to mentor and supervise undergraduate students and Grade 1 physiotherapists, further enhancing your leadership and teaching skills.

Applications from current Grade 2 and experienced Grade 1 physiotherapists are welcome.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Relevant degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care settings (ortho, medical, or similar)
  • Women’s health or ICU experience is desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to manage complex caseloads with advanced clinical reasoning
  • Experience in supervision of students or junior physiotherapists (highly regarded)
  • Flexibility to work across acute and subacute settings, and across campuses
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as part of the rotational roster
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
