About the Role

As a Radiographer, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering high quality care to patients and clients who access angiography services, along with the provision of clinical and provisional support to other team members in the peri-operative services team.

Your Experience and Skills

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and customer liaison skills. You will be flexible, self-motivated and will have the ability to work independently or as part of a team and can manage multiple relationships with various stakeholders.

• Relevant qualifications in Radiography/Medical Imaging
• Current Radiation Use Licence and AHPRA registration
• Previous experience in Cardiac Cath Lab/Day Surgery
• Understanding of radiation safety
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Excellent work ethic, time management skills and the ability to successfully work within a fast paced environment

The Hospital

John Flynn Private Hospital is a 354 bed, acute care hospital located at Tugun, which is on the southern end of the Gold Coast, within 5 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport. The hospital provides services to the population of the Gold Coast and the Tweed Coast extending into the NSW Northern Rivers area.

John Flynn provides a wide range of health care services with a 24 hour emergency department, comprehensive cardiac services, general and orthopaedic surgery, cancer services, medical, maternity and paediatrics, renal dialysis, day surgery and rehabilitation services.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
