Theatre bookings Clerk

Noosa Hospital - Permanent Part-time

Minimum 60 hours per fortnight

About the Role

In the theatre bookings position, you will be responsible for the theatre bookings, theatre scheduling and managing theatre lists. This will include liaising with surgeons consulting suites, and all members of the theatre team.

The successful candidate will be able to build relationships, engage and ensure open communication, be flexible, able to think on the run and manage numerous tasks at once.

 

 

About you

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors, nurses, medical professionals, administrators and non-clinical staff.

You will also bring:

  • Intermediate-advanced skills utilising the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy
  • Previous experience in theatre or hospital bookings (desirable)
  • Experience using Patient Information Systems (desirable)
  • Experience in hospital mainframe systems (Desirable)
  • A professional phone manner with experience managing incoming and outgoing calls
  • Proven ability to work in a customer service focused environment.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
