About the role

As a Clinical Nurse Manager at Joondalup Health Campus, you will hold a key leadership and management role within the Hospital, accountable for the efficient and effective management of resources within the department.

The role encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services across the Mental Health Service which includes Open and Secure Adult, Youth and Older Adult inpatient areas as well as the Mental Health Observation Area adjacent to the Emergency Department.

As a Team Leader, you will be required to work closely with the Executive team to shape organisational strategy, improve procedural service provision and achieve departmental and Hospital strategic objectives.

 

About You

To excel in this role, we are seeking a positive and dedicated individual with outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA
  • Extensive clinical skills and experience in the specialty
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Demonstrated management and decision making skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and material resources
  • Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate continuous improvement programmes
  • Ability to apply research findings to clinical practice.

 

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $67.87 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
