The Role
As a Café team member, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, making a variety of hot and cold drinks and a small amount of food preparation all the while working in a fast-paced environment.
You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the department in line with required food safety, infection control and hospital standards, while offering high standards of quality and service to customer and patients
In this role you will report to Cafe Manager and work closely with a positive and respected team.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following:
- Barista skills preferred in a cafe or hospital environment.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable but not essential)
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $26.50 - $29.70 + superannuation + causal loading, based on experience level and qualifications. (QLD Support Services Level 1.1-2.1)

- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
