Permanent Full-time Role at Cairns Private Hospital

About the Role

Cairns Private Hospital is seeking an experienced and vibrant Occupational Therapist to join our team and support our inpatient and outpatient caseload!

This role includes but is not limited to, cognitive rehabilitation, neurological assessment and treatment, falls prevention education and equipment prescription, oedema management, upper limb therapy, group therapy and liaising with third party insurances.

This permanent role will see you support the Allied Health Team to provide services within the Rehabilitation Ward, Acute Wards and Day Rehab outpatient programs.

Your Key Skills and Experience

• A bachelor or postgraduate degree in Occupational therapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a variety of settings
• Acute hospital experience essential
• Experience within neuro-rehabilitation field preferred
• The ability to bake at least one cake per calendar year for your teammates!

Remuneration

A base hourly rate ranging from $39.56 - $57.69 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Allied Health Professionals Grade 1.1-2.4)

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
• Completion of the NDIS ‘Quality, Safety & You’ e-learning module
• Must hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (NDISWC)
