The Opportunity

John Flynn Private Hospital has an opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our 24-bed acute medical unit, which cares for a varied caseload including medical oncology, neck of femur fractures – both medical and post-operative management.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset and a passion to learn new skills and develop your clinical knowledge. Along with exceptional communication skills, you will also demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an acute hospital setting
• Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $40.47 - $52.19 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife gr2-gr8) [FTE $79,968.72 – $103,127.44]

About Our Hospital

John Flynn Private Hospital is a 354 bed, acute care hospital located at Tugun, which is on the southern end of the Gold Coast, within 5 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport. The hospital provides services to the population of the Gold Coast and the Tweed Coast extending into the NSW Northern Rivers area.

John Flynn provides a wide range of health care services with a 24 hour emergency department, comprehensive cardiac services, general and orthopaedic surgery, cancer services, medical, maternity and paediatrics, renal dialysis, day surgery and rehabilitation services.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
