Become a valued member of our dynamic surgical nursing team, working across two 32-bed units specialising in Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Urology, and ENT. We are committed to delivering exceptional care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

As part of our supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will play an integral role in planning, assessing, delivering, and evaluating care for patients across a wide range of surgical specialties, including:

  • Neurosurgery
  • Women’s Health
  • Paediatrics
  • Urology / Renal
  • Orthopaedics
  • General Surgery
  • Plastics

 

Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be a supportive mentor with a passion for team development and delivering high-quality patient care. You will also bring:

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years’ ward-based surgical experience
  • Excellent time management and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Advanced communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Remuneration

  • RN: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8).
  • EN: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $35.78 - $39.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD EEN level 1-2 gr1-gr6). 

 

About Us

Facilities include 9 state-of-the-art operating theatres, two cardiac catheter laboratories, a minor procedure room, a day surgery unit, an 11-bed intensive care unit/coronary care unit and a 9-chair day therapy unit. Medical consulting suites are located onsite together with comprehensive pathology and radiology services.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
