Assistant Nurse Unit Manager
The Avenue Private Hospital Day Surgery Ward is seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our leadership team!
About the Role
You will be joining our friendly team across three divisions Dermatology, Endoscopy and Day Surgery.
As a member of our clinical leadership team, you will review, plan, oversee and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Nurse Unit Manager. As an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager, your role consists of clinical aptitude, dynamic planning and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide a high level of quality service and care to our patient population.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must display strong clinical knowledge and competence within an acute surgical setting. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will also bring;
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Recent experience in Day Surgery with highly regarded skills in Endoscopy
- Any clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Day surgery experience preferred
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $55.92+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
